Let us pretend for a moment that we are plants. We start as a seedling. Someone comes along and hand picks us out of all different varieties of beautiful flowers. We were chosen purchased and brought back home. They put us in a small pot to start us out to establish our roots and blossom to who were we meant to be. With their love, sunshine and water we do just that!

So as we grow we get bigger, and more full of beautiful color and scent. You are so happy being there in your safe place. The place that has never let you down. A place that was always there for you. So the bigger you grow the more you realize the pot isn't growing with you. You then realize that its okay I will stop growing and just stay here, instead of going to a new strange place and expanding our roots we would rather stay where we are comfortable.

God is calling us to get out of our comfort zone and trust Him that He has our best interest at heart! He knows that we thrived at one spot but we may be thriving better in a new location where His light can shine on and through us! We just need to trust that his location for us to move to is what's best!

Broken records anyone?

Do you ever feel like you've said the same thing more than once within a minute? Do you ever feel like you've said the same thing more than once within a minute? There times I feel like ten second Tom from 50 first dates most days. Now I have to wonder is it because they didn't hear me or is it that they want to see how many times mom is willing to say the same thing.  I secretly think they have a running tally and bet on it and whomever lost has to be good. Have you ever noticed that?

I can see it now the children putting deals on the table saying okay I bet mom will say it 3 times before she goes crazy, and the next one says I will see your 3 and raise you 5. They shake on it and say let's try it. Kids come out and ask mom can I play with the soccer ball, mom says sure but outside and child then goes what did you say? Mom then repeats sure but outside. Child then goes did you say no? Mom says again I said sure. Now at this point mom is getting a little annoyed seeing as though they've played this game for the last 5 hours with multiple subjects. The child then comes back and asks again now this time mom is upset and goes a little crazy and then says don't ask me again. Ding ding ding we have a winner, the child who said 3. Lets see what they won Bob, well I am glad you asked the prize is you know mom best and when to stop asking!
